Xmas pressies wrapped, house tidied, a few emails left to write... just time for a last minute meme, courtesy of selenak:

If you had me under your command and could make me write anything, regardless of whether or not I know the fandom or if anybody even writes fic in that fandom and no matter how crack-addled it might be, what would you love to see me write?

Yes, I'm much happier to write faux archaic than Valley Girl! My friend coyote_william writes about Spike, both fiction and meta: I don't know if you've seen her writing at all.

Those are exactly the things that I'd want to cover in a Galadriel-Faramir vignette: I have a sense that Galadriel tips Boromir over the edge in some way, when she probes the Fellowship in Lorien, and I have a feeling too that Faramir knows this ("What did she say to you, the lady that dies not? What woke in your heart then?") So I wondered to what extent he blamed her for Boromir's fall, and how he would react to her... particularly given that she is his new Queen's grandmother. It's still early days on that one yet, however.
