Cripes, lawks, and lumme, it's thirty - count 'em - THIRTY years since things turned out so terribly well for Our Heroes on Gauda Prime!

Happy Gauda Prime Day, folks! May your rebellions make it to the New Year!

PS If my day turns out as planned, I'll be watching "Blake" tonight, starting at 8.10pm, and tweeting as I watch: #GaudaPrimeDay

'Tis the season to be Spoilers for the last episode of B7 on the grounds that it would be annoying to be spoiled this late in the day )! Happy Gauda Prime Day, one and all!

And please extend a big Freedom Party welcome to [livejournal.com profile] sarannarandir, who has found her way to my LJ via a post I made about an article she published in Foundation all those years ago about the end of B7. The internet is a wonderful thing.

A very happy Gauda Prime Day to you all! Twenty-eight years since my girlish dreams were blasted to smithereens, and yet the moment is still so fresh. Happy days!

A very happy Gauda Prime Day to you! Twenty-six years ago today the final episode of Blake's 7 was transmitted. Long may our Christmasses continue to be slightly blighted by our sweet memories!

It is twenty-five years since my bright-eyed and trusting childhood innocence was slaughtered on the dark altar of cynical telly.

Yes, as [livejournal.com profile] kalypso_v reminds us, it's Gauda Prime Day! The most important day in the calendar for all good Blake's 7 folk. Gunpowder, treason, plot, and so on. Long may Chris Boucher continue to enjoy being the man who killed Christmas.

Can you believe it's a quarter of a century since 'Blake' was first transmitted? One day I'll come to terms with it.

As well as the shortest day, solstice, whatnot, today is Gauda Prime Day, the 24th anniversary of the first screening of Blake, the last episode of Blake's 7.

I was nine. It screwed with my head. I still haven't recovered. Huzzah!

[livejournal.com profile] kalypso_v remembers that it is Gauda Prime Day - the twenty-third anniversary of the screening of the last episode of Blake's 7.

At the time, I was a bright-eyed nine-year-old, with a hope-filled heart and faith in human nature. Fifty minutes of television changed all that. When the credits rolled at the end of the episode, I sat gawping at the screen for a bit, and then ran upstairs and had a big cry. Hurrah for the Christmas spirit!
