It is twenty-five years since my bright-eyed and trusting childhood innocence was slaughtered on the dark altar of cynical telly.

Yes, as [livejournal.com profile] kalypso_v reminds us, it's Gauda Prime Day! The most important day in the calendar for all good Blake's 7 folk. Gunpowder, treason, plot, and so on. Long may Chris Boucher continue to enjoy being the man who killed Christmas.

Can you believe it's a quarter of a century since 'Blake' was first transmitted? One day I'll come to terms with it.

Must be something about Christmas that does that. *calculates* Mine was lost 30 years ago. Still, Chris Boucher kept up the tradition nicely.

So should one part of the film of your life be entitled "How Chris Boucher Stole Christmas"?

I wondered if he was thinking of your interview with him, when he was speaking on the "The Cult of Blake's 7".

Scrooge has got nothing on Chris Boucher *g*.

No, I really can't. To misquote Eliot I have measured out my life in TV programmes!

Happy Gauda Prime day to youuu, happy Gauda Prime day to youuu... actually, that seems rather inappropriate. It should be more solemn, I think.

Good Lord, I remember watching that so clearly..!

I'm going to spend the day shooting the cats with my watergun to commemorate it. Or something.

Egads - i'd forgotten! I can sense an imminent removal of tape from bookshelf, appreciating the BBC vid's artwork in transit.

25 years eh? Time flies etc...

Have a good Yule.
