A: A series of stories by Altariel, Dwimordene, Isabeau, and Soledad, based on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, mostly concerning the Stewards of Gondor and the Princes of Dol Amroth.

Here is a little project which I hope some of you might enjoy playing with: the Best Loved Sons Wiki.

"Best Loved Sons" is the umbrella title given to the series of Tolkien fanfiction written by myself and Isabeau, with additional (and substantial!) contributions from Dwimordene and Soledad. When I was updating the timeline last week, I began to read through again from the beginning, and I was struck by how much world-building that Isabeau, in particular, had done. So I thought it would be nifty to gather it all together in one place, not only as a helpful reference resource, but as a potential source of plot bunnies. (Weaving together timelines and other information in this way always throws up story ideas.)

The 'Unabeauverse' timeline is the chronological list of connected Tolkien-based stories by myself, Isabeau, Dwimordene, and Soledad.

Andrahar, an OC created by Isabeau, first made his appearance in her story Captain, My Captain. Since then, several other authors - Dwimordene, Soledad, myself - have been inspired to write about the character and his background, and his relationships with the Princes of Dol Amroth and the House of Mardil.

I'm hoping to update that journal over the next few weeks with a similar chronological list of all the stories that take place in the "Unabeauverse". It's a long, long list!
