In high school I was on something called quiz bowl, which I think is very similar only we couldn't confer on most questions (we had to ring in individually). I still play along with jeopardy and often win. *sighs* Such a geek, honestly....

I'm terrible at that kind of buzzer quiz, because my memory doesn't retain detailed information. I can remember where I read something (down to the place on the page), but not the detail of the fact. Which is great for research, less great for things like buzzer quizzes and most kinds of academic environment.
Glad the email arrived safely; ponder as much as you need, I'm probably going to be online only intermittently over the next few days as I try to nail down a short story.
