Fantastico.

Alas I have no geek icons.

This is my geekiest icon. I need one of Andrew from BtVS.

I lied. Whoops.

This one should qualify as geeky.

That's geeky. But cute!

You don't. You really don't.

I'm not sure that 'hunk' is the first word that would spring to mind for most of those on the list. But it could have been worse: it could have included Arnie as Conan.

No, I wasn't sure about 'hunk' either. 'Top Geek Totty' is more like it.

If it had been Top Geek Totty, Executrix's Client would have been ranked a little higher...

Anyone who has the bad taste to pick Kirk over Picard (the voices alone should settle it, plus, hey, we got a good look at Picard naked in Chain of Command, and I don't even want to imagine what Kirk looked like at that age) and not to include at least one Cardassian clearly has a bizarre idea of attractiveness.*g*

(Though admittedly some of the other picks were understandable...)

Yes, the Kirk choice is a bit puzzling!

It's a shame there's no Cardassian, although I can understand the choice of Weyoun. When I went to my first Trek convention, I thought I was one of those fan veterans, you know, nothing could ever make me starry-eyed again, but Mr Combs was lovely. (I also came away hugely impressed with Gates McFadden, who was this brilliant and literate speaker, and did some wonderful performances of Alan Bennett monologues at the cabaret on the Saturday.)

Murmurings from many friends about the absence of James Marsters, although I never saw it myself.

Troughton is conspicuous by his absence.

Troughton? McCoy.

Isn't that great??! And it's written by my friend, Amy, who you've corresponded a bit with, sharing many common interests and papers on fandom. Thanks so much for posting it here. She'll be thrilled. :D

Awww... lucky you. Our schedules have been so wacky we haven't been able to get together for coffee in at least 3 weeks. I'm in complete Amy-withdrawal. :(

Glad to hear that your writing is going so well, BTW! Which fandom? Or original?

I've been admiring her new website - it looks great.

The writing seems to have been going very well this week (it's original).
