I'm just glad I didn't have to pass any kind of maths to go to uni; I wouldn't have made it. Don't see the point either, given that I wanted to study languages....

Same as my sister - could never quite get a decent grade in Maths O-level, speaks five languages fluently and gets by comfortably in another two or three, including BSL.

I didn't mind maths puzzles either as a kid, although I was never as quick with them. I like logic puzzles, although I'm very impatient with them.
