Keepers of the Hearth

I'm plugging Keepers of the Hearth, by Alawa:

"Edoras, 3021, the last year of the Third Age. Tomorrow the Golden Hall will witness the wedding of King Eomer and Lothiriel of Dol Amroth. For more than thirty years another has kept it safe, but now she must make ready for the coming of the Queen."

A beautiful, very skilful piece, with a great deal of understated emotion. Highly recommended.

That was lovely. Thanks for the recommendation. It was a gentle story, but Winfrith had had a hard life and I really felt that. One to read several times I think.
