I'm pretty busy, but here's a round-up of things.

Some reviews of Brinkmanship, my latest Star Trek novel:
TrekMovie.com
Trek Lit Reviews
Trek.FM
Priority One Podcast: review and Q&A in which I discuss the female characters in Brinkmanship

And an amazing star chart of the Venette Convention from Brinkmanship by [livejournal.com profile] dewline: thank you so much!

SFX have reviewed Chicks Unravel Time, in which I have an essay (a book of essays by women taking each season of Doctor Who in turn)

Interview at UnrealitySF.net
Interview about writing tie-in fiction at the Strange Alliances blog

Please support Behind the Sofa: Celebrity Memories of Doctor Who, a gorgeous volume, compiled by Steve Berry in aid of Alzheimer's Research UK [Amazon]

Under the cut, the gorgeous cover of the new German-language edition of my first novel, Cardassia: The Lotus Flower

"Una McCormack (The King’s Dragon) argues that Sylvester McCoy’s final year of Doctor Who is the show’s best season ever."

Quite right too. :)

I'm very tempted to buy "Chicks Unravel Time", as it sounds like a lot of fun. The only trouble is that the piles of unread books around the house, for which I don't seem able to find the time, are growing ever higher! (Only today the ten volume boxed set of Neil Gaiman's Sandman books arrived.)

Ooh, I understand about those piles of unread books! This will only be a slim volume, I'm sure...!

You certainly are busy...

What good reviews - not only because they are positive, but because they are well thought out, and pick up what you said about wanting to write more about the strong, and interesting, women.

Yes, I was really pleased that they picked up on the female characters: I worked quite hard on that!

I gotta say that Cross Cult has done an amazing job with the Trek covers. Certainly better than Pocket's been able to manage. (I was especially happy that the German edition of Q & A actually, y'know, had Q on it, a nuance that escaped the editors and art directors at S&S....)

Ha! Yes, you'd think the clue was in the title... Cross Cult have been amazing. I really hope they do The Never Ending Sacrifice, although I was pretty spoiled with the cover for that.
