Last minute or what

altarielI'm off to the Q-methodologists' Annual Ball this week, at Kent State, Ohio, leaving on Wednesday, coming back Monday. I only finalized plans for it at the end of last week - the August Virus of Doom left me very behind on a lot of stuff.
This morning I got an email from the program organizer asking me to submit something for presentation - they've had someone drop out. Better than that - since I'm a graduate student they'll cough up some cash to help defray the costs of attending. So I've dusted down the Blake's 7 study and, dependent on thumbs up from the organizer, I'm going to present on that! It's been round just about every other community except for the Q-methodologists, so now it's coming home!
OK, now this makes me rather busier than I'd anticipated. Knew I shouldn't have spent the weekend reading. (Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides. It took him nine years to write it. It took me 24 hours to read it.)
