Wow - that looks pretty exciting to me, so I can only guess at how it looks for you! I take it that Rory's presence on the cover means he's a major character, then? I hope nothing is emerging as the series unfolds that undermines your characterisation of him (or the others for that matter). That would be galling.

First Small Person cannot quite believe he has stayed over and had dinner with someone who writes Doctor Who books.

(Would you think King's Dragon will be reasonable bedtime-story material for a seven-year-old who's watching Eleven, albeit usually snuggled in very tightly with Mummy or Daddy for the scary bits? Or is it Too Grown Up? It'll be out too late for the Boy's birthday in June, but still... clearly I need to get my paws on a copy and pre-read it, purely as a responsible parent, you understand ;-) )

I think it would OK as bedtime reading. The age range is intended to be 10-14, but if Mum took a look through in advance, she'd soon see whether there were any bits that needed a bit of editing. (I think TV images are likely to be scarier.) When you have it, I'll direct you to the section that I think is likely to be the most alarming.
