Four inches of snow last night; pictures behind the cut. We kept getting powercuts last night, but at least the TV aerial didn't fall over, like it did in the last blizzard. (Fixing that involves
mraltariel climbing out onto the roof.) Some serious-looking branches have fallen off the tree in the front garden, though.

Date: 2009-12-18 08:17 pm (UTC)Our snow arrived this morning, and continued through the day. It's still snowing now, starting just as I began clearing the pavement outside the house.
It couldn't have waited a week, could it? :-)

Date: 2009-12-19 08:31 pm (UTC)Beautiful day today here, clear and bright sunshine and below freezing all day; we went for one of those gorgeous winter-afternoon walks after lunch with the sun setting behind leafless trees, then scurried home for hot chocolate and to finish decorating the tree!
