I bunked off at lunchtime to go to a free concert by local singer-songwriter Boo Hewerdine. Good stuff.

Next week's concert at the same venue (the Mumford Theatre) will be given by one of the world's leading theramin players - or theramists, apparently. I'm glad there's a word for that.

Now to hit my wordcount target and clean the bathroom. Probably won't do that all at once but it might be interesting to try.

Theramin! Utter coolness.

If even one per cent of the fic I think while doing housework got written down at the time, Powers would have been finished years ago.

What we need is someone to invent a series of household robots (like Roombas but more versatile) that are powered by writing at them! Though that would be procrastination buggered forevermore, or course....

I have decided that the process of sorting stuff out in one's head while engaged in mundane tasks, while not actual assembling of words into a document, still Totally Counts as writing. This means that I have done a lot of writing while in the shower :P
