altariel | Nemesis strikes again

We went to the second one-day international at Lord's on Sunday. England of course did not win, but as a large proportion of the fun comes from having a sit and a chat with

mraltariel and passing judgement on the people around us, that was fine. Also, we had a very nice picnic hamper. And we took some pictures.

Trains were not running between Cambridge and Kings Cross. Oh no. That would have been convenient.

Mid-afternoon, a Lancaster bomber flew overhead, to commemorate the anniversary of the outbreak of WW2. Immediately afterwards, England, who had been doing rather well up till then, turned useless.
