Nemesis strikes again

We went to the second one-day international at Lord's on Sunday. England of course did not win, but as a large proportion of the fun comes from having a sit and a chat with mraltariel and passing judgement on the people around us, that was fine. Also, we had a very nice picnic hamper. And we took some pictures. applegnat, some of these might be of special interest.



Trains were not running between Cambridge and Kings Cross. Oh no. That would have been convenient.

Mid-afternoon, a Lancaster bomber flew overhead, to commemorate the anniversary of the outbreak of WW2. Immediately afterwards, England, who had been doing rather well up till then, turned useless.


Never mind, we still had each other. And the Enterprise.
