State of the nation

altarielGoddammit, I have ANOTHER cold. It started after Christmas and I thought I'd shaken it off, but it came back over the weekend and it's still here and vicious. Horrible sore throat. I think I've had everything that has gone round since the end of November. I'm in bed watching Deep Space Nine ('Far Beyond the Stars' and 'One Little Ship') and playing on Library Thing, so I suppose it could be worse. Still, though, I'd like to see some of 2009.
Fortunately my taste buds were able to cope with a trip last night to Le Gavroche and I think I can die happy after that cheese souffle and double cream. The atmosphere is wonderful, comfortable and relaxed. (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mraltariel and I agreed how much Garak would love it. And then had a long discussion about the crew of the Liberator going to Wagamama.)
