It's a reaction to his inability to even remotely fake acting. He looked all pretty, standing there in the white shirt and the leather in 'Much Ado', and then the mouth opened and noise came out and it was a horrible, horrible disappointment.
I so know what you mean. But the white-shirt-and-leather look goes quite a long way. Plus there's Denzel in similar (blue leather, as I recall... Ahem.) And, for those with stranger tastes, there's also Kenneth. ;-)
