Ah, geraniums. Those were ever-present in my garden at home, and they're probably the first flower I learnt the name of. I haven't seen any of them for a while, I miss them. Those are nice white ones.
Pretty white geranium! (I am still inordinately amused by the very white azalea bush in the Botanic Gardens which is officially named 'Persil' and I know it is all official and proper-like, because it is engraved in white letters on a black shiny label.)
I am among those who loathe the smell of geraniums. Geraniums lined the window sills in the corridors of one particular set of classrooms in one of the blocks at my secondary school, and we used to have to queue up on that side of the corridor while waiting to go into class. People were constantly brushing up against them and the smell made me sick. In case you're collecting data, I love Marmite and loathe celery.
So I can admire the pretty picture while being glad that I can't smell the subject.
Yes, the biology rooms in my old school were stuffed full of geraniums too! I didn't like the smell and, as I said somewhere else on this thread, my best friend at the time was allergic, and used to come out in a rash when she came into contact with them. I much prefer them in pictures too.
