The pear tree, which does not get as much fuss made of it as the cherry tree (see left). Taken around 8am this morning.



I left the image very big, so if you click on it a couple of times, you can see the light on the bark more clearly.

I like the red band at the point where the tree's branches are visible against the sky. Makes for an interesting hot spot against the cooler green-yellow below and blue-green-violet above. You've got the whole color spectrum in there!

How interesting! I couldn't see that until people pointed it out. It's funny how the eye is drawn to different things (I predominantly see the semi-circle that the cherry tree makes on the left).
