Wow, my first experience of Freecycle was something of a triumph. I had an office chair going spare: I posted this morning, my post got through moderation at 17.29 this evening, first response at 17.35, and it was out of the door by 7pm! Grassroots organization in efficiency shock. Surely this is humanity's future?

ETA: Aw, just got a nice thank you note too.

Isn't it brilliant?! I joined at the start of the year (I knew I was going to be doing some spring cleaning), but I didn't expect it all to be so smooth and pleasant! Shows what the internet can really do.
