Verity Lambert
Nov. 23rd, 2007 01:21 pmToday's the 44th anniversary of the first transmission of Doctor Who.
Sadly, today Verity Lambert has died, aged 71. Verity Lambert was the first producer of Doctor Who and, at that time, was the youngest and the only female producer at the BBC. She went on to become one of the UK's most distinguished TV producers.
