Picowrimo 2007

There's been enough interest in doing
picowrimo again this year, yay!
PicoWriMo started in October 2006 as a place for people who wanted to participate in some of the madness and achievement of NaNoWriMo, but wanted a more realistic target - say 500 or 5000 words.
People set their own targets. There are no goals other than those you set for yourself, and no compulsion beyond what you put upon yourself. There are no limits on genre, style, age, or experience, and both fiction and non-fiction are welcome. Many people last year found they exceeded their targets and expectations.
I post a daily prompt throughout November so that people can give updates on their progress, and get encouragement and support.
People are welcome to post excerpts (rated for a general audience), ask questions and for advice, provide insight into their writing life, and so on. It's not a reviewing, editing, or beta-reading community, but links to completed stories are also welcome.
Feel free to join! It might be just the thing to help you get your
yuletide story done!
