One of tonight's episodes of Juliet Bravo was directed by David Maloney. The other was written by Robert Holmes. And both were script-edited by Chris Boucher. All from 1982.

If it was 1982, hasn't it become it?

By the way, check out 1985 (http://uk.imdb.com/title/tt0617687/) for further proof of your thesis.

I had been watching 'Assassin' and 'Games', and was still somewhere in 1981 ;-)

Jarriere Bravo! Also plenty of Doctor Who connections in that episode: Nicholas Courtney, Robert Glenister, Graeme Harper.

So they'd be...

Jean (or Kate, but Jean really)
Tom (oh, why did he go on that course)
Joseph
George
'young PC of the season', e.g. Peter, Danny
'DCI of the season' e.g. Logan or Perrin
and
erm...
the little green-screen computer in the corner of Jean's office?
