This is from the radio comedy Nebulous, starring the ever-popular Mark Gatiss and a variety of Doctor Who jokes. Professor Nebulous "leads the eco-troubleshooting team of K.E.N.T. (the Key Environmental Non-Judgmental Taskforce) as they combat various catastrophes and try and set the world back on the right path". Confronted with a particularly evil human-cactus hybrid, he is driven to ask, "Is it humanoid? Or cactilinear...?" Why I added it as an interest I don't know, but the word is certainly very pleasant to roll around the mouth and variations of the line surprisingly easy to work into conversation.

As Odo tells us, and why would we doubt Odo, the Obsidian Order are "the ever-vigilant eyes and ears of the Cardassian Empire". Scarier than the Romulan Tal Shiar and - for my money - harder than Section 31. Garak rose to dizzy heights in the Obsidian Order before getting chucked out by his boss and father Enabran Tain, and all without securing his pension.

I chronically have one, along with a terrible memory. Sorry if you've had to say something to me several times. I'd like to pretend I was having higher thorts, but I'm probably thinking about me dinner.

They both refer to two lovely bits of technobabble of the kind that poor Colm Meaney was frequently obliged to say in DS9. These two became catchphrases really, the writers loved chucking them in. Garak actually gets the best line containing both of them: "It's not a reverse ratcheting router... [STABS] It's a self-sealing stembolt!" Joy.
