I think one of the reasons I've been enjoying the show so much when a lot of people on my flist weren't is that I've been getting pretty much what I expected all along. It entirely fits my idea of how a post-Cyberinvasion remnant Torchwood unit located in Cardiff and headed by Captain Jack *should* be.
