I'm going with 'tosser' even though I have no idea what that means, but while he might be a genius, he is completely excruciating to watch (at least on the American version).
I turned on the telly tonight to see Gordon offering crepes to the Fulham WI. Who seem to be populated these days by terribly young gels in the latest stylings from FCUK. *boggle*
Your "glittering tinsel" icon makes me think of Winston Peters, who was frequently heard to protest that he would not sell his political soul for "the baubles of office". At least, not until he was offered the post of Foreign Minister, that is. Bah.
More annoying than Jamie Oliver, which is impressive.
Jamie Oliver most recently observed Cocknifying the lives of camp Italian monks; next week apparently he's off to hunt and kill things, and find out cooking with meat isn't all fluff and fun. I despair of the state of the nation if that makes good TV.
