Phew! Metropolis meets Our Man Bashir meets the Gospel According to Luke. With just a smidge of Salvador Dali.

I thought it was rather good.

Coo. Put like that, it sounds pretty much irresistible.

I think it's well worth seeing, if you don't mind being bludgeoned around the head with Christ-like imagery. Which I didn't, particularly, because it worked.

What did you think to Brandon Routh himself? Worthy to wear the cape?

I thought he was excellent. His performance starts out with lots of echoes of Christopher Reeve (particularly as Clark), which was surely intentional, and then he very much makes the part his own. It can't be easy playing - well, a superman, but he has a lot of quiet strength and basic decency. Really good.

I think you'd really enjoy deciphering all the imagery.
