My season 2 Deep Space Nine DVDs arrived this morning. At last! The Wire in proper-o-vision! With none of the dropout lines over all the bits I've rewound over to watch again and again!
The booklet inside is in Dutch, which is a bit weird.
I've them all on VHS - the complete series, and I mean original tapes, not recorded ones. But people keep telling me how much better everything on DVD is. Well, not ready to switch yet, as long as my tapes and my recorder is working. But I'm glad you are having fun. DS9 rules!
Which reminds me: may I put you on my newly acquired LJ's Friends list? I hope for some interesting discussions in my other fandoms, and this is easier than join dozens of mailing lists. :)
The main problem with my tapes (they're also original ones) is that I've watched them so often that the picture really is starting to denigrate (especially over the high angst Garak moments that I've watched again, and again, and again...). DVD picture quality is an awful lot better too.
By all means add me to your friends list :) I shall be adding you as soon as I finish typing this message!
