Torchwood (anag. 6, 3)
Oct. 17th, 2005 12:35 pmI'll try to type this up without exploding with excitement: the BBC have announced Torchwood, a 13-part Dr Who spin-off series starring John Barrowman as Captain Jack.
There's a link to an audio interview with RTD from that page; see also the BBC press release.
"Torchwood is a British sci-fi paranoid thriller, a cop show with a sense of humour," says Davies. "It's dark, wild and sexy, it's the X Files meets This Life. It's a stand-alone series for adult audiences which will have its own unique identity."
How cool is that? In my head it's playing like Ultraviolet, only with Captain Jack swanning around snogging everything that moves.
