communicator's suggested incantation. Eurovision is not so gently revenged by leaving me humming, of all things, the Polish entry.
Far more of you than expected proved frighteningly sensible in the Friday afternoon dilemma poll, although a brief surge of support secured a win for the Doughnut Plan. In the end, I couldn't be bothered to go out to the shop, and compromised with some biking and a sandwich.
In other news, the Mighty Saints prevailed against local rivals Wigan to win the Challenge Cup. This is a particularly serious local rivalry: my brother claims Wigan's 1989 defeat of St Helens 27-0 contributed directly to his decision to emigrate to New Zealand.
