Well, I'm back...
Aug. 19th, 2005 09:18 pmFrom Tolkien 2005, slightly later than intended (bit of a cock-up on the phone front).
Slowly catching up on insane levels of email. Being without email has meant that I have polished off a B7 fic for the forthcoming Labor Day party (my first B7 fic in years). Being without email after attending an utterly wonderful Tolkien convention means that I've broken the block on Withered Tree (the Denethor Lives! AU) and I'm busy polishing off another chapter.
Good to be back.

Date: 2005-08-19 08:53 pm (UTC)Is this a continuation of the "Christmas Carol" AU story that I loved, or is it a different AU?

Date: 2005-08-22 02:16 am (UTC)Thanks for mentioning it!! I hadn't realized that it had already come out. I guess I'll buy it and add it to my rather small collection of books in which my name appears. ;)

Date: 2005-08-21 02:01 pm (UTC)Originally, I had intended to go as well when I first heard about it, but in the end, I couldn't make it to Birmingham after all. From what I have heard, though, it seems to be have been an interesting and amusing experience (in other words: so many geeks in one place!).
I've broken the block on Withered Tree (the Denethor Lives! AU) and I'm busy polishing off another chapter.
I'm looking forward very much to reading it. :)
