Weather's a little gloomier today - grey, no sunshine. And a bit colder. Not that I'm letting it trouble me unduly, tucked up in bed with my hot water bottle!
Aww, poor Una, coming down with the flu (it's sounds more like that than a random cold, if you ask me!). Bleurgh. Get some rest. Drink lots of water and try to consume warm liquids. Wait, if you have a sore throat, cold liquids might help. Or you could just ignore me and go see a doctor. :)
I was about to suggest at HA that someone write the Denethor-Finduilas proposal scene (for the Betrothed Challenge), since it's doesn't look like Celandine is going to finish 'Courting the Lady' anytime soon. But you shouldn't be writing when you're sick. Do you even have enough energy to do so? I'm always too lethargic, myself. :)
I slept in spectacularly this morning and now I'm lying in bed reading and watching the telly.
I'll probably feel up to doing a bit of writing later this evening, although Mr Altariel is home with the same cold, and has commandeered the laptop! *g* The Denethor-Finduilas story is written in my head (it's only a very short scene, not anything impressive but I hope it'll be fun), so I might get it done later. Tomorrow, certainly.
Hope you're de-lurged soon. May I suggest a bracing portion of hot-and-sour soup? Did my last cough/throat no end of good. Mind you, I was sitting in the bestest restaurant in Dunedin at the time, that might have helped.
Just as well I remembered that soup thing, actually, as Typhoid Mary has been hovering in the lab, and I fear I may have succumbed :(
