I can't help thinking of the physicist, chemist and economist stranded on a desert island with cases of canned food but no can opener. The physicist immediately starts trying to build a laser to burn through the cans. The chemist starts trying to distill seawater to manufacture corrosives. The economist shrugs, lies down, and says, "Assume a can opener..."
