Sith and stuff

I went to see Revenge of the Sith again last night, in the company of the wondrous
glitterboy1, and I enjoyed it again immensely - substantially because I no longer had to concentrate at all on the dialogue to follow the plot, so it was just one great big epic and beautiful tragedy unfolding in front of me. Smashing.
Earlier in the day, this fair city delivered up the goods as I was taking back my library books, with an insanely clear blue sky, lots of punts on the river, and some students showing off rehearsing a play in one of the gardens. It is also exam season, which means you get to overhear bits of conversation like, "So long as haemorrhage comes up I'll be all right." That's the spirit.

So uncharacteristically well-maintained the lawns are.

Which is particularly unlikely when you consider that I'm working in an anatomy department, where lecturing has just ceased to allow for examining, and I frequently pass students in the corridors.
btw, do they ever stop getting younger?
