For anyone in the UK anxious to acquire a new addiction, or to revisit an old one, Sky Mix seems to be showing Deep Space Nine from the beginning, weekdays 6pm, starting this evening.
Spike TV is one of the channels you have to pay to get, so I don't. There's also a Sci Fi channel, which I also don't get. I've been renting DS9, but my local video store doesn't have all the seasons. (Woe is me! My life is so hard!)
They also started showing it on Sky One at 4 p.m. on Monday.
By amazing luck, I happened to sit down in front of the television and wonder what might be on to pass an idle hour at 3.55. So I've had two happy hours so far. I think this may be only the second time I've seen the pilot.
Oh yes, and I also discovered that BBC 3 was showing Farscape just after midnight. And I've caught it just after Chi joined the crew, which means just before the plot arc started. Oh, happy, happy, happy, happy fair!
Darn, missed it, then. But I'll have to see about tuning in, since we've been planning to get addicted to DS9 at some point, having never seen it (we probably went for Now and Again instead).
Was going to fuming about us not getting Mix, but that's sort of defused, now...
Oh, it seems to be an episode every day - I imagine they just started it two days ahead of Sky Mix, for some reason.
But if you want to see Season 4 of Farscape, go to SciFi, also at 4 p.m. That's also restarted very recently - I think today is the fifth episode but it's the first one in which Aeryn reappears. So you'd have missed the arrival of Sikozu/departure of Jool/establishing of Noranti/ditto Grayza, but I don't think it's too late to rejoin them.
Though now I think about it, it's a pity you missed What Was Lost (the second and third episodes), as they probably have more significance for the PK Wars than for the rest of the season. You could always apply to steverogerson for a loan.

Date: 2005-03-09 12:04 am (UTC)Oh good, that's probably more convenient than an episode a night. I like the pilot.
