Good question! I'm hoping to provide crack_van readers with an overview of what Silmarillion fanfiction is like, including at least one recommendation from all the really 'major' writers, so I guess I'm particularly looking for recommendations of Silmficcers that Silmfen would consider to form part of the Silmfic 'canon'. Considering the audience, stories accessible to those who know Tolkien only through the Peter Jackson films are likely to be the most appropriate.

I was by no means intending to imply that 'classic Silmfic' need be accessible to film goers, merely qualifying my original request in the light of the probable crack_van audience (LotR movie fans).
