A replacement frame for the futon was just delivered. I tell you, the entertainment value got from seeing people freak out at the Dalek was worth every penny we spent on him.

You have a Dalek? How do you keep it from exterminating you?

We let him have the remote control for the widescreen telly.

You know, defense against the Daleks kind of explains the mind-numbing stupidity of most broadcast television.
"REALITY SOAP: it may look like crap to you -- but it's all that stands between Earth and extinction! Coming this fall to a theater near you!"

I really want to get a couple of those remote-controlled ones, so that we can have a pair of racing Daleks.

I'd also like one of the half-size ones , so I could line them all up (with the tiny Dalek I have near my PC), and have a set of Russian Daleks.

[lusts for] I'm not getting the salt and pepper set though. They don't deserve that.
I have a lovely set of Russian heads of state from the Tsar (the tiniest) to Yeltsin.

I do like the salt and pepper set. Far too pricey, though.
My sister has a set of those Russian dolls! They're brilliant! Mine is an ordinary set, though very pretty.
