Exterminated
Jul. 2nd, 2004 11:35 amNo Daleks in the forthcoming Dr Who.
Daleks would be fun, but I'm personally hoping for an Autons episode, preferably transmitted on Christmas Day. Plastic toys come alive and start attacking people! That'd send everyone behind the sofa.
On another topic, but equally likely to send you behind the sofa, Dobby/Sorting Hat. Yeah, you did read that right.

Date: 2004-07-02 04:41 am (UTC)Roger Hancock strikes again! I really can't understand it because it's not as if today's kids know what the daleks are. By refusing to allow them to be used the time must come when they start to fade from the popular imagination. Where's the money in that!

It would me, and I'm too big and don't fit any more.

Date: 2004-07-02 05:01 am (UTC)Oh, update via Mr A. from Outpost Gallifrey:
"Apparently, the Sun are trying to gather as many people who own Daleks together in London as they can to assemble the largest Dalek Army ever seen to protest the Nation Estate!"

Date: 2004-07-02 05:46 am (UTC)LOL. That's wonderful. A Dalek Army advancing across London Bridge would be very evocative, as long as The Sun paid transport costs! I don't think the Nation Estate would take much notice though.

Date: 2004-07-02 06:31 am (UTC)Boggle! It doesn't make sense. The Daleks need Dr Who more than Dr Who needs the Daleks.
*follows link, reads, cackles, and is deeply disturbed*
Now, if you'll excuse me, I just need to go and scrub my brain.

It's good to know that there's a mind out there even more perverted than the one behind the Death/Librarian story. :-)
