Survey help

espresso_addict is currently conducting a survey into 'the classics of literature', and is looking for participants:

"Anyone over 13 who reads at least occasionally is very welcome, but I'm particularly looking for people who fit one or more of the following criteria:

**male
**at least 40 years old, or between 13 & 19 years old
**don't consider themselves a fan of any particular piece of literature (e.g. Tolkien's works)"

I'm a good fit for one of the criteria ("at least 40"). I *am* a Tolkien fan though, but not an obsessive one in the sense that I think it's the best book ever written. Would that make me not quite what she's looking for or should I fill it in?

Thanks! I'm particularly keen to acquire some more male participants, as I'm currently running at around 80% women -- but I fear it does ask some of the kind of questions that tend to annoy me in surveys (age, gender, &c). Hopefully it isn't too intrusive.

Thanks -- no, I certainly don't need responses immediately! My course is coming to an end this summer, and I'm hoping to be able to do an informal analysis of the data some time in June, but as possible gender differences was one of the main things I was keen to look into, it'd be nice to get a few more men to respond first!
