The pile of books by my bed wasn't quite my height, but I hadn't taken into account any of the fanfiction, the rereads of LotR, and I think I had returned a few borrowed books (which I do, occasionally).
You'll get through I Capture the Castle very quickly, it's immensely readable. And the DVD is coming out soon.
