Loved it. Loved it.

Back again tomorrow.

I'm glad you liked it! I wonder how many viewings you and Mr A can clock up for this one?

I'm one ahead at the moment (he had an unmissable meeting today *sniff*), but we're going together tomorrow.

I suspect it will be the New Year before I can con someone into seeing it, but I'm looking forward to it! I hope Mr A enjoys it. As punishment for having had a meeting, you can tease him all evening with lies and half-truths about what to expect. ;-)

Hee! I might just do that. Although, poor soul, the meeting was punishment enough.

Can't believe you're going to wait till the New Year!!

loved it as well...

...said so here, and proved it by going again today.

I was just responding to your post when this arrived *g*

I get to go again tomorrow with Mr A., who sadly had to miss today's trip for a meeting at work.

Oh, it's not that I want to. I just really really don't like going to the cinema on my own. Don't worry, it's just another glitterboy oddity. ;-) When everyone's back after Christmas, there'll be someone I can pester into seeing it with me!

If you move fast, I'll come and see it with you. Although we're away 26th-2nd.

I wasn't fishing, honestly! But that's very sweet of you, thank you. Well, let's see how you're feeling about the film after tomorrow's viewing, and whether you and Mr A have any more visits planned yourselves. If you're up for it, and you have time, then that would be lovely (it'd be good to see you, as well). But really, don't feel committed to it. Will talk to you by e-mail and see what you reckon.

Vague offer of film-viewing company from here, too :) We're away 22nd-28th, and I'm back at work on the 5th, if that helps in picking a time.

I suspect I'll very happily sit through it a third time! :-D And, Trixie, if you're up for it too, that would be good.

(Sorry, both for not replying sooner.)

It would be lovely to see both of you, and film-viewing company is always welcome. :-)

What about this Sunday, 21st Dec?

Sounds good to me, too - shall I see if the BoT wants to come as well?

Fine by me. It's possible that a friend of mine might want to come along too - is it OK if I ask her?

(Replying to this one to catch both TL and A) The BoT and A's friend both absolutely fine by me.

As for time, the only showings at the Warners on Sunday with spaces still available are 10am, 11am and 9pm!!

Now only 10am and 9pm. I vote for 9pm, if it's still available by the time we've reached a consensus.

9pm would be ok with me; depends on whether others are ok with the lateness - ends at 00.41. (A, obviously, I can give you and friend a lift home afterwards; likewise TL and the BoT, if you want one.)

9pm is fine - my friend had already booked earlier in the day it turns out, so just me.

Altariel has since also voted for 9pm, without friend. Is the BoT up for it? Should I book tickets for us all (to avoid a risk of half of us getting them and half not)? I won't do anything until I hear.

I'd be grateful if you booked. Thanks.

9pm is fine, both BoT and me, and yes please to your offer of booking.

Sorry this is so late - I've only just woken up :)

Sorry this is so late - I've only just woken up :)

No worries. Hope you had a good sleep!

I've just done the booking - we're in. Given the evident demand for other showings, should we reckon on arriving early tomorrow?

At least half an hour before would be my advice, based on my current data!

Meet in the foyer 8.25-8.30, then? A, should I pick you up just after 8.00?

Or should we get food beforehand? I'm easy. (But then, as someone pointed out, everyone knew that already.)

we're in

Hurrah!

Arrival - definitely early. We were at the Warners yesterday for Master and Commander, and what I assumed was the RotK 9pm session already had thirtyish people outside at 8:20 or so. So at least half an hour, if not more.

Sorry, I stupidly replied to Altariel's last comment, which meant you wouldn't have had a message. Sorry. In my reply, I'd suggested 8.30. Maybe, based on this, 8.20 would be better, then.

I also wondered about food beforehand, but that's not compulsory :-)

8:20, then.

Food would be nice - let me know when and where. Somewhere that's not going to be too busy on a Sunday evening, I suppose

Food good! The Burleigh? Or will we find ourselves caught up in the pub quiz?

From: [identity profile] glitterboy1.livejournal.com
How about the Burleigh Arms again, on Newmarket Road?

Say we meet there at 7.00pm? That should give us comfortably enough time to eat and then get over to the cinema to stake a place in the queue.

A, with regard to the quiz, it won't have started by the time we leave (assuming there's one on). At 7.00, it shouldn't be getting too busy.
