Congratulations on being on the shortlist. Now I have to wrestle with the moral dilemma of whether it would be right for me to vote when the only story amongst those ten that I've read is yours. Whereas yours was excellent, how do I know that one or more of the other nine wasn't even better. I suppose that's a weakness of such polls. Very few people will have read all ten, so that the winner isn't guarenteed to be the most deserving. So as everybody else will be voting in spite of that, I've decided that I should put my scruples aside and vote for you. :)
