altarielHeads-up for anyone in the London area: SF writer and all round splendid fellow Simon Guerrier is running a six-week course on writing science fiction novels, short stories, TV, and films, through South Bank University, starting Thursday 28th October.

Simon is the author of novels, short stories, comic strips, and audio plays for Doctor Who, Being Human, Primeval, Robin Hood, Blake's 7, and Sapphire and Steel.
I attended a workshop he gave on writing audio fiction for Big Finish at Alt.Fiction, and he's an excellent teacher.
