A Friday Five
Sep. 19th, 2003 08:13 pmNot a proper one, just five things I've done this week. Because I don't update often enough.
1. Remembered to use the exercise bike on three consecutive days! Woo! Go me!
2. Written furiously and frustratedly and feverishly and frenziedly and frantically. And LOVED every goddamn second of it.
3. Saw Pirates of the Caribbean for the fourth time. Me hearties.
4. Read almost all of Tender is the Night by F. Scott Fitzgerald and liked it less and less as I went along.
5. Started rewatching Ultraviolet. Because it's bloody brilliant.

Understand about the pacing - interestingly, Ultraviolet was made for one of the commercial channels here, but I couldn't tell where the ads would have gone when I was watching it earlier.
It drove me mad watching TV in the US, going from opening credits straight to ads! What's that all about?!?

I'm trying to find a cinema where I can see the original version - wouldn't do to discover after the lights are out that the movie is in Japanese!
