All's Well That Ends Well at the National Theatre was a feminist fairy tale, and it was ravishing.

Good! The world needs ravishment from feminist fairy tales.

Ooh, wonderful. I don't think I've ever seen it. But the production sounds gorgeous and the interpretation fabulous! Envy.

You're not wrong. The end of the first act had us weeping.

I had a blub at the end as well. I've never wanted to jump to my feet at the end of a play before. (I didn't because we were high up and I thought plunging headlong to a sticky doom was not the way to show my delight!)

I really enjoyed it too, saw it in August. £10 tickets rock my world.

Aww, it sounds magnificent.

I am glad you avoided the plunge of doom, among other reasons because people are then tempted to write trite novels about such incidents, and when I say people, I am talking specifically about Alexander McCall Smith.

Hmm, I wonder if it will be shown here, and I wonder if I can squeeze some time to see it because it looks utterly lush from the trailer.

I made it a while ago and never got round to uploading it. It seemed to fit on this post. :-)

And thank you for mentioning the NT production. It will begreat to watch it knowing it's live but at the same time mediated through the camera, and also knowing loads of other people across the country will also be watching it at the same time.
