A good few (like twenty) years ago, a police cal box was placed outside All Saints Church in Northampton - it was slightly different to the Tardis - and stayed there for a few months. Then it disappeared; presumably vandalised, but you never know...

I can't wait for the episode where the Daleks invade Abington Street and blow up the Greyfriars Bus Station...
