Withered Tree sprang forward in great leaps and bounds yesterday and today, and is now a respectable 4,000 words long (that's the prologue and chapter 1). I nailed the scene breakdown for the next two chapters today, and played with the location of some of the other scenes (I think much of the later narration is going to shift back by a chapter). The A4 sheet with the map of the story on is now getting a bit crowded. But I think on the whole it's shaping up nicely.
