So now I'm going to have to make loads and loads of entries today so that John Bloody Sheridan's smug face isn't smirking at me every time I open my journal. Not that I spend all day online, oh no, sirree, no way.

You could surf with the Mozilla browser, or Netscrape 6 or 7 (almost the same.) Then you could turn off images completely, or just them that don't originate at the site server. This often speeds up page loading as well, especially on LJ. You also won't have to look at my ugly mug whilst reading my comments. :-)

It also has a pop-up killer setting, which is tres useful. :-)

Thanks for the tip. I don't usually mind graphics - it's just bloody Sheridan gawping at me I have a problem with. Maybe I should doctor the picture in some childish but nonetheless amusing way, you know, colour in all his teeth or something *g*
