I get migraines without visual effects: severe headaches on the right side in my case, with nausea and sensitivity to light and motion (being in a car is not nice). I used to be incapacitated for up to three days, but Imigran tablets work a treat.
It could also be your neck being out of alignment though if you haven't had them before. I think that can cause nausea.
Vila has the perfect icon on his LJ but it seems I don't.
