What you say about the power of stories makes me wish that Diana Wynne Jones had been commissioned to write a Who episode - she does that kind of thing so well. Actually, now I think of it Witch Week already is an RTD Who adventure in all but name. Just do a universal find-and-replace on Chrestomanci/Doctor Who and you're there!
